How to build a placements report in the report wizard

Building a placements report in the Yandex Direct report wizard means four groupings and the Clicks metric. You can block impressions from the same table, without opening campaign settings. The guide still does not name a click count at which the block is justified.
What a placement row proves, and why one or two conversions are not enough, is covered in suspicious placements in YAN. Here is the assembly, and the control that article leaves out.

Four groupings and the Clicks metric
The wizard opens at Statistics → Report wizard (Статистика → Мастер отчётов). In the example “where the click came from”, the wizard guide sets the groupings ad number, placements, impression-condition type and click place. The metric in that example is one: Clicks.
That is a build from scratch. It does not replace the ready-made Placements report in the library. That one already has the Networks filter, the statuses Active and Stopped, spend, impressions, conversions, CR and CPA. The metric list and the filter example “spend over 1,000 rubles” are in the suspicious-placements article. A quality threshold is not made out of that thousand here either.
You set the period. The wizard guide does not describe how to save the report you built, or how to split clicks by hour. That step is not in this article.
Block impressions without leaving the table
In the Placements report you can allow or block impressions on a placement without leaving the report. A placement that is already blocked is marked gray. The report guide says to decide on statistically significant data, and it suggests turning previously disabled placements back on to recheck them. In one report you can change impressions for several campaigns at once.
The same control exists in the report wizard when the grouping is “Placement name” (Название площадки). The four groupings from “where the click came from” do not themselves replace the button. The block needs the grouping by name.
Gray is the state “already blocked”, not a quality score. Clearing the gray and watching the placement again is a separate action the guide itself suggests. The guide does not describe an evening’s block without a recheck as final.
What the button does not say
The page does not turn “statistically significant data” into a count of clicks or conversions. There is no threshold of the form “after this many clicks you may block”, and this article does not invent one.
Separately, the guide calls it irrational to review placements by hand and turn off the ineffective ones. It suggests the “Maximum conversions” strategy, or key goals, instead: the bid is lower where the conversion forecast is worse. The button in the report does not cancel that advice. Before you press block, the row has to pass the checks in the placements article: few conversions, a broken goal, a click Direct has already removed. That last boundary is set in invalid clicks. Signs of a paid empty click, if the row stayed in spend, are in signs of click fraud.
A visit check on the site does not press this button. It looks at the ad-click parameters among other observations and decides the visit, not the placement list. It does not run the Direct account. If there is no answer, the visit is let through.
Assembly, if you specifically need the wizard:
Open Statistics → Report wizard.
Set the groupings ad number, placements, impression-condition type and click place, and the Clicks metric, if the question is where the click came from.
To block impressions, switch the grouping to Placement name, or open the library report Placements.
Do not read a gray row as a verdict. The guide suggests turning it on again and rechecking.
Do not invent a number for “significance”. It is not on the page.
